David King is a professional Fine Artist and Oil Painter from Massachusetts. He primarily uses oil paints and graphite pencil as a medium.
He started painting in 2014 after a carpentry saw injury to his left hand(thumb and index finger.) Being left-handed, this experience caused him to have a perspective shift and he then completely immersed himself in the fine arts and improving at oil painting.

David's artworks are often fantastic and elegant, revealing a kind of beauty behind the darkness. Although dark in nature, his work seems to highlight the better side of humanity showing commonalities between us and them. I feel in many of his images, it is the human essence and the struggle to accept our differences and shortcomings as humans that shines through.
Within David's artistry, there is a depth of emotions in each brush stroke and layer of paint applied. His attention to detail is masterfully extraordinary and his keen imagination illuminates throughout his surreal realms and characters, creating a truly unique visual experience.
