This painting was sort of my first introduction into a dark surrealism style in my artwork. I was heavily inspired by Stephen King's: The Dark Tower series. I had only been painting for roughly two years when I made this piece and for that reason, it does hold a special place in my heart.
The King traverses the desert and far behind, stalks a mysterious figure.
